The estate also has 24 hectares (60 acres) of pasture crisscrossed by a stream, grazed by show horses, young colts, those retired and those still competing. Hannaches also represents a love for the equine art form—this magnificent animal that elevates us—and not only because it carries us around.
After many long years, the estate once again has horses, who once again make their way to the stables and the twenty or so stalls in the outbuildings. This is partially due to the former owners, who designed the pastures, built the fences and refurbished the stables, most of which are now listed as a national heritage site.
